ATEX range vacuum cleaners are built so as to prevent the formation of a possible trigger, an element that, in the presence of oxygen and a combustible material, can generate an explosion. In fact, they are equipped with earth grounding, certified motors to prevent overheating, stainless steel collection tanks, anti-static filters, and accessories made from conductive materials. The ATEX range offers vacuum cleaners certified for zones at low-risk (zone 22), medium-risk (zone 21), as well as an exclusive interior zone 20 certification.
Motor drives range from 1 to 18.5 kW, thereby meeting any and all vacuuming needs, whether continuous, occasional, for fine dust or heavy material. Among the vacuum cleaners certified for use in ATEX zones, there are also industrial vacuum cleaners with category 1/2G certification available, ideal for locations with little or no electrical power that can be used.
Finally, Mastervac offers a range of vacuum solutions with a dust inertization system, suitable for vacuuming material like metal dust from 3D printers that, being explosive, must be neutralised once vacuumed. The special collection tank, equipped with various safety systems, immerses the vacuumed dust in an inert oil bath.
